Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 5-year vision alignment
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype future-facing solutions
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board
- Establish KPIs for innovation success and track technology adoption curves
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- PhD or advanced degree in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Biotech) or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience managing $10M+ innovation budgets and cross-continental R&D teams
