Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, metaverse ecosystems) with 3-5 year predictive modeling
- Architect cross-departmental innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 business objectives
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early-stage tech acquisition
- Translate complex technological concepts into executive-level presentations and investor pitches
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term technology adoption impact
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies
- Present quarterly tech trend briefings to the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of scaling tech-driven initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in at least three future-tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or spatial computing
- Executive-level presentation skills with 50+ high-stakes stakeholder engagements
- PhD or MBA from top-tier institution with specialization in technology management
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals (IEEE, ACM)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global partnership development
