Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 5-10 years with focus on post-2026 innovations
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, biotech fusion) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical initiatives with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify first-mover opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory impacts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and commercializing innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic modeling frameworks
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
