Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to inform strategic planning for 2026+
- Develop and maintain a technology foresight framework with 5-year horizon projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Create competitive intelligence reports on emerging players and disruptive technologies
- Translate future trends into actionable product development roadmaps and investment priorities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for early trend detection
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends and shaping long-term tech roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.) and their business applications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Certification in Futures Thinking, Technology Foresight, or equivalent preferred
