Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness, focusing on quantum-AI convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging tech (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, Web3.0) to identify strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and commercial teams
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board with data-driven ROI projections
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry partnerships
- Author thought leadership publications on tech disruption scenarios
- Oversee $5M+ innovation budget allocation for pilot projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ years in emerging tech planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of scaling tech innovations to enterprise level
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems, or biotech
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Certification in futures forecasting (e.g., from Institute of the Future)
