Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech paradigms (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and future-tech incubation programs
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, sustainable tech, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and risk assessment for emerging technologies
- Published thought leadership in future-tech or innovation journals
