Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive innovations with 3-5 year market impact
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum, AI, Web3, biotech convergence)
- Partner with C-suite to align tech initiatives with business objectives and investor expectations
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Drive cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging hardware, software, and biological systems
- Represent company at global tech forums shaping policy for 2030 digital infrastructure
- Mentor next-generation technologists in future-proof skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with proven impact on 2020+ tech adoption
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 tech publications
- Experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to market leadership
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology forecasting models
- Portfolio of implemented tech strategies generating >$50M ARR
