Responsibilities
- Design and validate technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on quantum applications and AI convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging tech domains (neural interfaces, biocomputing, etc.)
- Develop strategic partnerships with academia and industry labs for technology scouting
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite stakeholders
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology deployment and risk mitigation
- Present future technology scenarios to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI
- Proven track record of launching technology innovations at scale
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of ethical tech deployment and regulatory landscapes
