You'll lead cross-functional initiatives that bridge academia and industry while maintaining our position as the most forward-thinking tech incubator in North America.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, prioritizing investments in quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, and spatial computing
- Lead strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA to pioneer next-gen research initiatives
- Translate complex scientific breakthroughs into commercially viable product roadmaps
- Manage a $50M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI analysis and pivoting strategies
- Present technological visions to C-suite executives and venture capital stakeholders
- Build and lead a team of 15 futurists and technical architects
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (e.g., commercialized quantum applications)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3 infrastructure
- Experience securing government grants and private funding for experimental technologies
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations
- Deep familiarity with US innovation policy and tech ethics frameworks
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization cycles
