Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess market readiness
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present executive-level insights on technology adoption risks and opportunities
- Build frameworks for evaluating ethical implications and societal impact of emerging tech
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers on future technology landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 80%+ accuracy
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR) and their applications
- Experience developing C-level strategic presentations and influencing executive decisions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts
- Background in scenario planning and risk assessment for technological disruption
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
