Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and industry disruption
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Partner with product teams to integrate cutting-edge innovations into commercial offerings
- Build strategic alliances with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
- Present technology foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive cross-functional innovation workshops and hackathons for future-tech ideation
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption landscapes
- Author thought leadership publications on sustainable innovation and digital ethics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (preferred)
- Exceptional presentation skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented future-tech initiatives
