Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy for 2026+ market readiness
- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and product teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D budget allocation and ROI analysis for high-impact projects
- Champion ethical technology adoption and sustainable innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within tech/consulting
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technology products
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, or biotech
- Strategic consulting background (McKinsey/Bain/BCG preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight
- Experience scaling teams in high-growth tech environments
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management
