Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead innovation sprints on quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with market expansion goals
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget across 15+ emerging tech initiatives
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Mentor a team of 8 senior engineers and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 exposure
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with published research
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, blockchain AI, or biocomputing
- Certified in Technology Strategy Management (CTSM) or equivalent
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Prior startup leadership in Series B+ rounds
