Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems) to define strategic priorities for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop and implement next-generation product roadmaps
- Establish KPI frameworks for technology adoption and innovation ROI
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Manage relationships with leading research institutions and technology partners
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property protection frameworks
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proof technology implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent strategic credentials
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to secure multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or future trends
