Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology roadmap aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AR/VR, AI ethics)
- Conduct competitive analysis and trend forecasting for disruptive tech sectors
- Drive innovation sprints with Fortune 500 partners to co-create future-ready solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor ecosystem for experimental technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (2018-2025 portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: AI governance, Web3, or sustainable tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology forecasting (e.g., Gartner, IDC) or equivalent experience
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or ACM journals
