Responsibilities
- Architect and implement a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in AI ethics, quantum applications, and circular tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (Web4, quantum AI, bio-digital interfaces) and develop mitigation/opportunity frameworks
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and board members with clear ROI projections
- Mentor a team of 4-6 technical strategists in future-gazing methodologies
- Drive patent development in frontier technologies with at least 5 filed innovations annually
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum, AGI, or neurotech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from Institute for the Future) or equivalent
- Deep expertise in ethical AI frameworks and sustainable technology design
- Experience with scenario planning for 2026+ technological inflection points
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
