Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 innovation horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead feasibility studies for quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI systems
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech integrations
- Partner with VCs and startups to scout and acquire next-gen technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on tech evolution trends
- Oversee pilot programs for futuristic tech adoption in enterprise environments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI safety, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products or services
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST standards)
- Strong network connections with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or similar institutions
