Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Design ethical frameworks for AI and automation deployment in regulated industries
- Secure $10M+ R&D funding through grant proposals and venture partnerships
- Present strategic insights to Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior engineers on future-proofing technical architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Certified in Technology Strategy (CTS) or similar framework

- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/C++) and data modeling tools
