Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmapping for 2026+ innovation cycles
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Identify and vet emerging technologies with market-disruptive potential
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent development and IP protection for novel concepts
- Mentor next-gen technologists in emerging disciplines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with 5+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Experience securing multi-million R&D funding
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Strategic certification in innovation management (e.g., CDIO)
