Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech integration, AI ethics frameworks)
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with market trends and regulatory landscapes
- Architect scalable prototypes using cloud-native architectures and distributed systems
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and integrate disruptive startups
- Present strategic briefings to board members and industry consortiums
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations with $50M+ impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CDSA, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for international stakeholder engagement
