What You'll Achieve: Define and execute our 2026 technology strategy, lead cross-functional innovation sprints, and establish partnerships with global research institutions. You'll report directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and influence $50M+ in R&D investments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead discovery initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech incubators
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $10M+ annual R&D budget across 15+ concurrent projects
- Mentor a team of 8 senior researchers and technology architects
- File 5+ patents annually in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations (portfolio required)
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field from Tier-1 institution
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience managing R&D budgets >$5M and cross-functional teams of 15+
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Security clearance eligibility (for government partnerships)
