Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology strategy for 2026+ roadmap, identifying high-impact innovations across AI, quantum, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging fields, partnering with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation hubs
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to maintain first-mover advantage
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board with data-driven frameworks
- Manage innovation pipeline from concept validation to pilot deployment
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/climate tech)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products or services
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and research institutions
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and startup incubation
