Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse infrastructure, etc.) and their business applications
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and company objectives
- Design and execute innovation pilots for next-gen products and services
- Establish strategic partnerships with tech startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Present compelling technology visions to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional teams to accelerate prototyping and validation of futuristic concepts
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory developments affecting future technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record developing long-term technology roadmaps (5+ year horizons)
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and future forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
