Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Design and execute innovation pilots for emerging technologies in AI, quantum computing, and advanced materials
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and corporate innovation partners
- Drive technology due diligence for strategic acquisitions and partnerships
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology implications and opportunities
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or advanced materials
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- PhD or Master's degree in relevant technical field or MBA with strong tech focus
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs or corporate venture arms
- Deep network within global tech research institutions and startup ecosystems
