Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends through market research, patent analysis, and academic partnerships
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for future technology adoption and R&D priorities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on futuristic innovation initiatives
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities in emerging tech
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with compelling data-driven narratives
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology development and deployment
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capitalists, startups, and research institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in developing future-oriented roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and board members
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and innovation communities
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
