Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-focused technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and disruptor opportunities in 2026 tech horizons
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build and manage a global network of technology futurists and research partners
- Drive patent strategy and IP protection for breakthrough innovations targeting 2026 market readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, advanced robotics, or neurotech
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Experience securing $10M+ innovation budgets and managing R&D portfolios
- Published thought leadership on technology futures (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi method)
