Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and vet emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical strategy with business objectives
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Manage a $15M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused prioritization
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in commercializing frontier technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or biotech convergence
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across global organizations
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Proficiency with technology assessment frameworks (e.g., TRL, Gartner Hype Cycle)
