Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential through 2026+
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market trends
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation technologies
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to position company as an industry pioneer
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and maintain external partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, and business teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in developing and implementing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and driving strategic consensus
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and innovation communities
- Certifications in strategic planning (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) preferred
