Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR) into core products
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Manage a $10M+ innovation portfolio including startups, R&D partnerships, and in-house labs
- Champion ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation practices
- Mentor technical teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech or foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching tech products with market impact (quantum, AI, or biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA strongly preferred
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in innovation management or technology strategy (e.g., CDIO, CTDP)
- Experience scaling technology teams in high-growth environments
