Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead discovery initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) and assess commercial viability
- Architect innovation frameworks for R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions
- Partner with product leadership to integrate future-ready capabilities into core product portfolios
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology foresight analyses to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and innovation processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, blockchain, biotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE/ACM journals)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes and regulatory frameworks
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams and agile development sprints
