Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats and opportunities in 2026+ tech landscape
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present futuristic vision to C-suite and board of directors
- Drive innovation sprints focused on solving 2026 societal challenges
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record in launching futuristic products (2018-2023)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neurotech, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or equivalent
- Fluency in future forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with specialization in future tech
- Experience with global policy shaping for tech ethics and governance
