Responsibilities
- Identify and assess emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026 (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across product lines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews in future-tech domains
- Present technology forecasts and implementation strategies to C-suite executives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage technology risk assessment frameworks for future deployments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles with R&D focus
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
