Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics) to develop 2026-2030 strategic roadmaps
- Lead technology due diligence for M&A opportunities in futuristic domains
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for next-gen tech startups
- Present strategic tech briefings to executive stakeholders and industry consortiums
- Develop patent portfolios and IP protection strategies for disruptive innovations
- Oversee pilot programs for experimental technologies in controlled environments
- Build and maintain relationships with academic research labs and government innovation bodies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech consulting, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, or decentralized systems
- Proven track record of scaling innovative technologies to commercial viability
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Strategy or Innovation Management (e.g., CDIO, CTS)
- Published research or thought leadership in future-tech publications (e.g., Nature Futures)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
