Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify and vet emerging technologies through market analysis and startup partnerships
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech adoption
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Build external partnerships with academic institutions and global tech consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ years future-proofing capabilities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences and TED-style speaking experience
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three implemented future-tech initiatives
