Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, bio-integrated systems, autonomous infrastructure)
- Analyze quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI implications for industry verticals
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and innovation hubs
- Present disruption scenarios to executive board with actionable mitigation/adaptation strategies
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused project prioritization
- Author thought leadership on future-tech ethics and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrated impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of scaling innovation from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research on technology convergence or disruption forecasting
- Experience with scenario planning and risk modeling for 2026+ horizons
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio showcasing at least three implemented future-tech projects
