Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and validate emerging tech opportunities
- Conduct competitive analysis of next-gen tech investments and patent landscapes
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technology implications
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototype development and pilot programs
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Author thought leadership publications on technology futures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy preferred
