Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing integration and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics and sustainable tech innovation
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for market disruption opportunities
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology foresight briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget for prototype development and patent filings
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future technologies or emerging fields
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record scaling R&D initiatives from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech convergence
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 tech journals
- Experience securing government grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture funding for speculative R&D
