Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI, and biotechnology convergence
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for collaborative R&D
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present technology strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage innovation budget allocation for experimental projects
- Ensure compliance with evolving AI ethics and sustainability frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, or biotechnology
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy (e.g., CDMP)
- Published research or patents in relevant technology domains
