Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and organizational goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics frameworks) for integration into product pipelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and product teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in future-tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology convergence
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
