Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning for 2026+ innovations across quantum, AI, and biotech sectors
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging tech with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and executives
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape evaluations
- Present findings to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Manage pilot programs for emerging technologies with 6-9 month timelines
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research consortia
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI ethics
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication ability
- Published work in tech journals or conference proceedings
