Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning breakthrough innovations with market demands and societal needs
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum applications, and climate tech solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and global tech consortiums
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Present technological foresight briefings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage a $15M innovation portfolio, balancing high-risk ventures with scalable opportunities
- Mentor a team of 8-12 multidisciplinary researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years in advanced tech R&D
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems, or carbon capture tech
- Experience leading international research consortia and securing $10M+ in funding
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) with 50+ citations
- Deep understanding of global tech policy frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
