Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive innovations with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across product development and operational frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech) for commercial viability
- Establish partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia to access cutting-edge innovations
- Present technology insights and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting technology adoption and adaptation strategies
- Drive innovation culture through internal workshops and technology literacy programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies in Fortune 500 environments
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong executive presence with ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies (e.g., IEEE, HBR)
- Experience with agile methodologies and technology lifecycle management
