Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 business objectives
- Research and assess emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with technology startups, research labs, and academic institutions
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify first-mover opportunities
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI on innovation investments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products in emerging domains
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech verticals (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling skills with experience in tech ROI analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy publications
