Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead strategic partnerships with global research labs and academic institutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Present technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
- Publish whitepapers and speak at industry conferences on technology futures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published author or thought leader in technology futurism
- Relevant patents or open-source contributions preferred
