Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and design teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for emerging tech domains
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and venture capital partners
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI on technology investments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in scenario modeling and forecasting
- Experience securing patents or publishing in top-tier tech journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-focused technology commercialization strategies
