Responsibilities
- Scan global tech ecosystems to identify breakthrough trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build external partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortiums
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or technology innovation with Fortune 500 or scaling tech firms
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (showcase 2+ case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, Web3, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making framework
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous tech transitions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy publications
