Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, metaverse, etc.) for commercial application
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology visions and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and lead a specialized future technologies research team
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership with proven track record of scaling futuristic solutions
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (e.g., AI, blockchain, quantum, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex technological concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile and rapid prototyping environments
- Strong network within global tech innovation communities and research institutions
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CFI) preferred
