Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps for 2026 and beyond
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis in emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Partner with product teams to prioritize R&D investments based on market viability
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future technology opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Define KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of innovation initiatives
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or clean tech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility for innovation portfolios
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future trends
