Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, autonomous systems, climate tech)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships or acquisition
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations in machine learning and nanotechnology
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Coordinate with global research institutions on collaborative R&D initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Strong financial modeling for technology ROI and venture capital engagement
- Published research or patents in future-focused technology domains
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- Global network connections in tech innovation ecosystems
