Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with 5-10 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Present innovation frameworks and investment recommendations to executive leadership
- Monitor global tech policy and regulatory developments affecting future adoption
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Drive internal innovation workshops and future scenario planning sessions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA/PhD) in Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of identifying and scaling disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI ethics, quantum applications, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong stakeholder management experience across C-suite, technical teams, and investors
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation journals
- Experience with scenario planning and future-mapping methodologies
